SI Scientific Instruments GmbH is expanding its product range with nanotechnology from Cordouan Technologies
With effect from September 2021, SI Scientific Instruments GmbH will be the new, official distributor of Cordouan Technologies products in German-speaking countries. The French company has been successful worldwide in the field of nanotechnology since 2007. Specifically, Cordouan develops and produces particle and zeta potential analyzers for the N3 world (nanoparticles, nanomaterials, nanotechnologies). Founded by Mathias Le Pennec and David Jacob, the company quickly developed into an institution in the nano world. Cordouan took its prestigious name from the nearby lighthouse on the Atlantic coast and the company motto “Enlight the nanoworld” also fits perfectly.
Today Cordouan Technologies offers a broad portfolio of measurement solutions for granulometry, electrophoresis, electronic microscopy and sample preparation. With a presence in more than 30 countries, Cordouan has equipped several well-known companies with its devices. These include B. Total, Rhodia, L’Oreal, ENS Paris and Lyon, CRPP, ENSPCI, STMicro-electronic, INRS, Dow Chemical, ARABLAB and the University of Waterloo. With our products, customers have been successful for years in the following areas: polymer synthesis and functional metal nanoparticles, crude oil extraction, optimization of the quality of cosmetic gels, development of special inks in colloidal form, biological studies and cell analysis.
The following table lists all available high-performance devices for particle size determination (resolution) from 10 μm to 0,5 nm at a concentration in volume of 40 to 0,0001% with VASCO™ or VASCO KIN™. WALLIS™ is a high-resolution device for determining the zeta potential in the range -500 mV to 500 mV, while AMERIGO™ combines particle size and zeta potential determination in one device. With the ELMO™ Cordouan also offers a reliable glow discharge system.
